Research
Research Interests The scientific interests of Prof. Daniela Ascenzi are in the field of gas-phase physical chemistry and her main research fields are:
- elementary processes and reaction dynamics in the gas phase
- astrochemistry: chemical reactions in the interstellar space and planetary atmospheres
- structure and reactivity of singly and multiply charged ions
- chemical synthesis in cold plasmas
- photoionization and photodissociation dynamics via lasers and synchrotron radiation
- mass spectrometry and molecular beam techniques
