Curriculum Studiorum

In 2004 Pietro Franceschi received the PhD degree in Physics from the University of Trento dicussing the thesis "Reaction dynamics in ion-molecule collisions" under the supervision of D. Bassi and P. Tosi.

In 2000 PF received the degree in Physics (cum laude) from the University of Trento discussing the thesis "Spectroscopy of molecules and clusters by means of Synchrotron Radiation", under the supervision of D. Bassi on a research project performed at the Synchrotron Light Facility ELETTRA in Trieste.

Professional Experiences

2005 - Representative of the ``Atomic and Molecular Physics Laboratory'' in the EUROPlanet 6th EC Framework Programme (Project number 001637).

2004 - Synchrotron Light Source ELETTRA. Responsible of the international project "Internal energy effects on the reactivity of atomic and molecular doubly charged ions" (nr. 2004759). The project has been carried on in collaboration with the "Laboratoire du Chimie Phisique"(LCP) in Orsay - Paris and with the "Heyrowsky Institute for Physical Chemistry in Prague.

2003 - LURE - Orsay. Responsible of the international project "Réactivité ion molécule des dications N2 ++" (nr. 1735). The project has been carried on in collaboration with the "Laboratoire du Chimie Phisique" (LCP) in Orsay - Paris and with the "Heyrowsky Institute for Physical Chemistry" in Prague.

2002 - LCP - Orsay. Four months Marie Curie EU grant (Udychem program). Project title: "Role of the internal energy content on the ion molecule reactivity of CO2 ++ dication".

2000. Six months graduate students grant from the Trento INFM Unit.

1999. Six months undergraduate students grant from the Gasphase Photoemission Beamline of the Synchrotron Light Source ELETTRA - Trieste for the developement of a supersonic molecular beam apparatus devoted to photoionization studies.
