PHYSICS LABORATORY II

Prof. A. Fontana

A.A. 1998/99

PROGRAMME

The arguments of the course are Optics and Electric Circuits. There are about 50 hours of lectures to introduce the 22 experiments that the students will perform in about 100 hours of laboratory work. There are 7 experiments on optical subjects (diffraction from a circular aperture, diffraction from a rectangular aperture, and slits; study of refraction index by a spectrometer; study of light polarization, study of light sources; photoelectric effect; holography) and 13 on electric circuits: 5 concern dc phenomena, 5 concern ac phenomena, 3 concern semiconductors (Zener diode, diode rectifier, emitter follower), 2 concern operational amplifiers.
