Many -Body Physics with Hybrid Light-Matter Systems
Abstract
Hybrid systems of matter strongly coupled to the electromagnetic field open up several new routes both from a fundamental and a technological perspective. The best of both worlds can be exploited to tailor optimised quantum technologies as well as to explore novel phases of matter and light. In this talk I will focus on the latter aspect, reviewing recent experiments and discussing future prospects toward the achievement of quantum crystals of matter and light.
