Agent orientation is emerging as a new software paradigm that might be able to denote more functionality with greater quality than other paradigms such as the object orientation. The tropos project is emerging as one of the major proposals among Agent-Oriented Software Engineering one.Tropos has adopted the concepts present in i* Framework. The i* framework not only supports agent-oriented software development but also help the business reengineering process. Although the literature has several works on the use of i* to model several types of domains, it is still weak on proposing a methodology to guide systems development from the scratch. This is work aims to exactly to tackle this problem. It proposes a methodology to guide both requirements elicitation as well as business process re-engineering. To validate this methodology, we are conducting one major case study to be developed in a real case scenario, so we could experience this strategy with real stakeholders. We expect not only to validate the existing proposal but, more then that, to come up with new ideas drawn from real necessities we may face during the case study. These new ideas will be incorporated into the strategy whenever we judge it might be the case, and through the continuous process of designing the models, validating them with the stakeholders, and validating the new features added to the strategy.
