School in Biomathematics

Trento - March 19-23 2007.

The PhD program in Mathematics of the University of Trento, with the help of the Department ofMathematics, has organized a school on

Cell growth and pattern formation

The school will take place at the Science Faculty of the , via Sommarive 14 , POVO, starting at 11:00 on March 19 up to 13:00 on March 23, 2007.

Schedule

The school is mainly directed to ph.D. students in Mathematics, interested to the use of mathematical models in biology, but participation is open to everybody, especially to ph.D. students of other universities, to ph.D. students and researchers in the biophysical and biomedical sciences, interested to understand the main methods and results of the use of mathematical models for cell growth and pattern formation.

The participation to the school is free, but it is kindly required that people interested in participating notify the secretary of the ph.D. program:

Signora Miriam Stettermaier, Dipartimento di Matematica, via Sommarive 14, 38050 Povo (TN).
